Spear & Jackson Ice Melt

Originally formulated for use on airport runways, this brilliant ready-to-use spray from Spear & Jackson is far more effective than other liquid de-icers. It can melt a centimetre of ice in just 25 seconds – that’s an inch in about one minute – and prevents ice bonding to almost any surface for up to 48 hours. Unlike salt and grit, which can get trampled through the house (and can also be harmful to artificial grass lawns), the spray-on formula is mess free and easy to apply using the long-hose trigger spray. It can be used on just about any surface including stone, cement, wood, metal and glass.
