The Xtralite NiteSafe torch is ideal for plugging in by the back door, as it’s always fully charged and all set for use – handy for trips to the wheelie bin or night-time dog walks.
Its rechargeable battery draws constant power from the mains, so it’s always at the ready, and fully-charged it will work for up to 3 hours hand-held.
Turns on automatically in the dark, emitting a gentle orange glow that’s great as a nightlight for halls, bedrooms etc, and switches on if your mains power fails, providing you with emergency light direct from the plug-point. Average running costs are only around 2-3p a month, too.

Brilliant
This has proved really useful. The hall in our flat has no natural light, so it keeps some light in a dim place. It's also useful as a torch when looking in a dark cupboard because it is immediately to hand and is fully charged when needed.

Just what my father wanted
Perfect design no cables and lights up when electricity goes off also features night light. It is as described. Maybe a touch larger and brighter would be beneficial.

Excellant what else can I say
Bought 3 one for my husband and one for myself and one for a friend. Was going to keep the one to give hubby for Christmas but ended up using the 2 almost as soon as they arrived. Threw some old torches out which we could never find when we needed a torch. Highly recommend
